This 9-28 week – this course is suitable for beginners, who haven’t had any previous experience in this trade or level 2 & 3 NVQ or equivalent of qualifications in hairdressing, that want to extend or change their work path, giving them more confidence in male grooming.
This course will get you work ready, giving you the knowledge and tools to help you inspire to the best of your ability in this ever growing, profitable industry. You will gain the knowledge and tools to a break into this industry with confidence. You can choose one of two of my course options, that is to have a one to one tailor made tuition with myself, that will be just me and you having my complete attention or one of my smaller group courses, which will be no more than a group of 4 to every course.
This will include work done on head blocks & then on real clients. You will been given theory work which will be completed from home in your own time at your own pace, so giving more practical experience time with me.
I have over 30 years of experience in this trade. I will endeavour to bring my knowledge and experience to help you throughout your course, to bring out the best of your ability as an up and coming Barber.
This will cover: client consultation & communication Health and safety Laws and regulations Product information & purchasing Freehand cutting techniques Clipper techniques, including skin fades Client care Shampooing and hair preparation Equipment care, upkeep and safety Scissor and clipper over comb techniques Beard trims/ shaping and edging. This includes using a blade, correctly and safely Help and guidance starting up & pricing of services.

Everyone these days having work and family commitments, we can work towards accommodating to help suit the individual, on the one to one courses. The Courses
What can I learn?
I week fast track course. (5 days). This is for learners who have past experience, hairdressers wanting to break into the barbering, or barbers that want to build up their confidence in different aspects of barbering. Some theory will have to be carried out, which can be fine from home. so you get all the time allocated to the practical part of barbering. You may have no experience and want to test the waters, to see if you would like to enter into this industry?
One to one courses – £1050.00
Small group courses – £850.00
Skin fade courses. – 1 day – £240 – 2 day- £460
Cut throat shave course -1 day – £230. This include hot towel and cut throat blade.
Perming – £190
Basic colouring techniques for men – £220
Day courses for improvers. Those with NVQ 2 & 3 qualifications- £200 – £250 a day
Beard trim/shape and edge up course – 1 day – one to one – £190 Group.- £130 this includes trim, shape up. Using hot towel and cut throat blade.
